Delta Rho celebrates 100 years of AEPi

It's been 100 years since AEPi was founded and they had a celebratory convention to commemorate the occasion. The opening reception for the convention occurred at NYU, where was AEPi first started.

To pay tribute to its roots the opening reception, the opening reception took place at New York University, the birthplace of AEPi. In addition to the opening reception, the trip to NYU's campus also included a group photo at the opening reception. Following the photo we were bussed to the boats where we all enjoyed dinner and a tour around Manhattan.

The next days main event was Shabbat dinner on the aircraft carrier the intrepid. On the carrier we enjoyed dinner while exploring all the exhibits. The meal led directly to the Shabbat programming by honoring all of the Alpha Epsilon Pi veterans. Delta Rho was very fortunate to be able to honor one of its own members that was present at the convention, Dmitry Voznyak, who is part of the Naval ROTC program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Saturday began with the Partners and award lunch where we were thrilled when Zachary Cohen was announced as the winner for Master of the Year, a major accomplishment for both Zac and Delta Rho. Later that evening we attended the black tie Centennial Gala. At the gala we had the privilege of hearing from many distinguished alumni and guests including CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

Shortly after the lunch was the gala banquet. Wolf Blitzer, and various other guests, made appearances at the banquet. It was a very proud moment to be an AEPi!

We were also proud that we had an extremely large delegation at convention, consisting of approximately 15 undergraduate brothers, and 10 alumni.
Here's looking forward to another great convention next year!

ASA joins AEPi at JRA

Yesterday (8/4), Alpha Epsilon Pi and Alpha Sigma Alpha went on our monthly trip to JRA.
Early Sunday morning, 10 brothers woke up early to pack boxes of food at JRA. Alpha Epsilon Pi was accompanied by several sisters of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority.

Luckily, it was a beautiful morning out, so AEPi and ASA were able to enjoy some sun while packing the boxes. One of our brothers, Jesse Rosenstein, was able to help one of the delivery cars by making some extra deliveries while the rest of AEPi and ASA continued to pack boxes. After he returned, we loaded our own cars and headed to Spring Garden to make some deliveries of our own.
Another very successful JRA with AEPi and ASA is in the books!
